What kind of camera do you use?
I use a Canon 6D mark ii as my base camera for every photoshoot. Often times I like to rent different camera bodies/lenses to expand my creativity and knowledge in the field.
Do you charge extra for travel?
Yes. If it requires an automobile, it’s an extra $50 for every half hour. If it requires me to purchase a plane ticket, then the travel fees will be discussed during the time of booking, and we can come to an agreement.
Do you have a second shooter/assistant during shoots?
Typically, no. The only time I ever need an assistant is when I am working weddings, and when it calls for it. And when that day comes, I have access to an assistant or a second shooter.
Do you offer hair and makeup?
I don’t, however, my best friends are certified makeup and hairstylists and have worked together multiple times on shoots. If you would like their contact info, please say so in the email you send me.
There is a type of photoshoot I want to do, but I don’t see it listed on your website?
Most of the time that is because the client I have done that shoot for asked me at the time of booking to keep it private. If there is a certain type of shoot you are looking to do, shoot me an email and tell me your vision!
How can I be a model for you?
I’m so glad you asked! You can either email me or DM me on my Instagram @imabbeytphotography, and we can talk about the details. In order to be a model, you have to be 100% flexible with the styling, posing, and delivery process as well. I’m always exploding with creative ideas, so I’m constantly on the lookout for models!
